Default Timming question car is missing after T-belt??

I have some questions for you guys. I used to be a reg on this board but sadly sold my civic. I now have a Talon TSI, I wanted to ask here a H-T because I think you guys know your ****. Plus the mitsu boards are just filled with Rice and I dont want to waste my time . OK now onto the question. I just did the timming belt on my car everything went fine, but the car is missing now. I thought it might be plugs or wires So I replaced both still misses. So I did my homework, and im thinking my exhaust cam might be off a tooth? could I just pull off my cam cover and check the marks at TDC and if they align its correct? Would I have to take everything back apart and check the crank? I understand how it works, I just dont understand How to check to see if I have slipped. If the exhaust side is off then wouldn't it just show on the timming marks at TDC thanks alot for helping a fellow H-T member out

turn the crank by hand and put #1 at TDC and check if the arrows on your cam gears are pointing straight up, or are aligned correctly. i don't know if mistu's have arrows like hondas.
