Default Tranny updates check it out I need some input

whats up honda tech Im in the process of putting my motor together and I want a nice tranny setup to match. When I got the car it had a b16 tranny with an lsd. After beating on it for a while it got hard to put in third and started grinding in fifth. also I broke the T bracket mount on the bell housing. soo I figured Ill take it apart get a new bell housing and throw some synchros in it.

below I have some pics of the bell housing I got with a good mount. But apparently the diff fell apart in the case and i was wondering if I can still use this?

Im worried about the ridge that was chewed off, It looks like maybe its used for getting oil down to the diff bearing? or is it just for structural rigidity?

Heres a pic of my other bell so you can see what im talking about.

I just have to take out the piece for the taper bearing because its a GSR bell. what your input tranny gurus?

For synchros I just got a 3/4th and 5th sleeve with carbon coated synchros from synchrotech. Any input on these? Wondering how they perform and longevity of them.

the differential "slings" oil to that galley for the differential bearing.i would try and get a different case being that you can find them cheap sometimes.by the half case in the backround i take it that it's a cable trans???i have a couple of ys1 cases if interested.

I figured I'm just going to use the original bell that I repaired by filling the broken mount with aluminum weld. I just need to re tap the threads. Ill post up some pics of how it looks I know a lot of people break this mount. Im putting this trans back together but I'm missing one bearing.
