Did you "break" or bed the pads per Hawk's instructions?

I installed a set on my S2k in August of '09 and they've give me no trouble since.

sounds more like air in the lines, frozen calipers or a failing master. the hps pads are still more aggressive than oem. not my favorite pads by any means but they are okay. the hp+ or axxis ultimate is a better all around pad

HP+ are better but don't work well when cold. Something to understand before slapping them on a car.

Not sure why your pads aren't working well.

I have hps pads on my DA and am not exactly thrilled with them for a DD. Awesome once heated up, but that does you no good when your running to the store real quick and need to slam on the brakes in a emergency stop.

The stoptech performance pads are a better pad then the HPS, plus cheaper too.

HPS is a slightly more agressive street pad.

HP+ is a max perf street pad. No cold issues, despite comment above. They do dust heavily. This is my Corvette street pad. I'd rec these for autox, since they work well cold.

Black/Blue are the Hawk entry track pads. Great for light cars like our track CRX with no brake issues at all.

DTC line is their high temp/high perf track pad. I run these in my 440whp corvette on track days. Probably wouldn't run these hot enough in most honda applications.
