Default 1994 Civic Si, hmotors b18c, JUNIII headwork, $8000

Looking to test the waters and see if anyone is interested in a b18c powered 1994 civic si. The motor originally came with 29,000 miles and i've since put 55,000 more miles on it. 4 years ago, I put junIII cams in as well as jun retainers and jun springs. To go with that, it has a greddy timing belt, skunk2 adjustable cam gears, skunk2 intake manifold, and my baby...an original rmf b-series street header that still allows the ac to be used, and I do use it every summer. It has hasport mounts, skunk2 cam seal. Again, the b18c was from a 95 gsr in japan. Other notable things about the car is that it was repainted 2 years ago, but has since developed a small patch of rust on the driver side quarter panel. The passenger side was cut out and rewelded. The only major blemish is the bumper. It has a hairline crack open. The body is nice, but has a couple blemishes. The car has been made to look completely stock with a stock size muffler, but the rmf leads to matching 2.5 inch exhaust and an ecutout to open the exhaust completely up via switch. Rides quiet during daily driving but sounds insane when open and full throttle.

The car is currently sitting on 99 si wheels, with some tires that will eventually need to be replaced. (40% tread). Suspension wise, it has Tein superstreets, and spoon front and rear sway bars.

I'm asking 8k, but would gladly think about any other offers, even lowballs. If you would like pictures, just send me a message and i'll send them to you as soon as possible. The car is currently in Charleston, South Carolina.

Call or text me at 843-847-1945 for more info. Lowball offers accepted!
Thanks everyone.

Found a decent daytime picture. The only physical difference is that it is on si rims now (i still have the gt3 if someone wants them instead), and the muffler looks completely stock.

I mean come on man. You are asking $8,000 for a EG hatch with VERY little information and the mods you listed don't justify your price. Not only that but you have the nerve to ask your potential buyers to specify what they need pictures of....... glws and im not trying to bash you, it just seems like you don't really want to sell this car.

Thank you for your input, and I'm sure you aren't the only one who has thought this. I ask for picture specifics for your convenience so that you will get a picture of exactly what you want. I'll get the pics you requested as soon as possible (tomorrow), and post them. The mods, to the right buyer, would most definitely justify the price in that I can provide receipts to show that this car has over $13000 in mods in it.

Honestly, I am indifferent on the sale, and I have stated again and again that I will consider any offers, even lowballs. I will take your criticism as constructive, and not as trolling. I love the car, and I wouldn't mind keeping it. After all, I've had it for 10 years (since I was 15). However, I don't have any more garage space and I would like to see it sold to someone who will take care of it. I know I won't get what I've put into it, so just send me an offer if interested.

Thanks!

A delsol would be fun to have here on the beach and all, but I'm going to need something a little more practical for daily driving I think. I'll think about it though, because I do love targas.

LMAO
JUN stage 3 head work........ this is considered a very rare part mate and the parts are worth more than the car..... so it is definately justifiable. maybe not to you, just the same as a 40k BMW is not a justifiable price to me.
it would be a boring world mate if we all thought the same thing.

WOW! Are you serious?

1. I see JUN Cams, springs, retainers from 4 YEARS AGO. HARDLY enough to justify a $8,000 price tag.

2. No HP/TQ Numbers. Whats all done to the bottom end? Who knows its not listed.

3. So you're telling me you would pay $8,000 for this car with a bone stock bottom end. Jun head parts from 4 years ago. No where do i see that the car was even tuned.

The whole point I am making is that this car doesn't have very good information on it. And there are no detailed pictures at all. Oh and btw, most people that work on hondas have all their parts being more then their asking price for their cars. we take huge loses to sell our cars, take a reality check. I have well over $8,000 in my car, does that mean i add up all my parts prices and ask that for the car? NO.

its not a boasting match mate if you're gonna get like that just 2 of the parts on my EG6 = £4000 in just 2 parts so thats over $6000 doesn't mean a thing i know that .
Use your brain mate if it is not listed anything done to the bottom end then maybe just maybe........ there is nothing done to the bottom end. lol

anyway in this country ( England ) you would pay £3500 ($5500) for a completely stock EG civic with a stock b18c4 init and no work done to it at all.....

so to me yes $8000 (£4900) is a respectable price with a b18 and jun parts and a full respray within 2 years. .

a nicely tuned SiR B16a will get that all day long here.
far enough if you think its over priced your opinion you are entilteld to it but it does not mean i have to agree with you as to me its not a rip off its a fair price.

just to let you know a stock EK9 in this country goes for $15,000+ and i know for a FACT that this car would beat a stock EK9 on track.

1. This is not England. His name says he's in Kentucky. TRUST me you would be an idiot here in "the states" to pay $5500 for a stock EG.

2. My problem is NOT with the price or the mods with the car!!! My problem is that when he was asked for better pictures, he replied with "specifically of what? It's just common sense when you are selling something of such high value and amount of "modifications" that you would get better in detail and present your car better. We don't even have a engine shot.......

Thanks VtecFTW, I appreciate your help in explaining. For the purpose of jdm94coupe, I'll send additional pictures of anything anyone wants in a pm, if they're interested.

I appreciate your interest in my car jdm94coupe, and I was trying to be helpful by asking you what you wanted specific pictures of. In an online sale, most people desire very specific pictures of things mentioned and not mentioned. For those people, I am very will to take those specific shots. I don't think you're interested though, so I'm afraid I can't oblige your request. Thanks for the bumps though!

No problem man. It is good forum ethic to point out something that may seem fishy, and I can appreciate that.
