I ordered an ECU for an auto tranny civic dx from b18ctrb for my father who uses an old civic as a second work vehicle to save gas. I payed for it and he ships my father a MANUAL transmission ECU after I specified numerous times that I needed one for an auto tranny.

I PM him and I get some BS story about his gf shipping me the wrong one, now he won't reply to PMs.

I would definitely not do business with him again. I'm out $40 and it's hardly worth the effort for me to return it. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Next time, if your gf doesn't know the difference between an auto and a manual tranny ECU, then maybe she shouldn't be the one shipping them, if you even have one.

You should be able to get one of these from a local junkyard for dirt cheap. I know my junkyard around here would give me one for about 20 bucks.

 

Why dont you post up that you did get the right one now on the 22nd. And as for you pm'ing me you only pm'ed me once about the situation and I told you what happened. I apologozed and sorry about the wrong one being sent. So if you can please send me back the 5spd one that would be greatly appreciated

 

He screwed me over also. Only took 2 months to get my money back. His excuse was that the post office lost it both times. There were other people who commented on my thread who had the same experience with him. Not a good seller at all.

Didn't you read the reply? I SENT HIM THE 5spd ONE NOW! Now he still has the wrong ECU. So where is he now? No where to be found! And people complain about me and call me scammer!!!
You kids need to grow up and get with the program! A bunch of teeny boppers that want to be ballers on here! People complain that sellers dont ship out right then and there. Well WTF if its midnight let me run to the post office and ship the parts out, even though every single shipping company is closed!

 

I had no problem, if anything i was just a little to anxious to get the parts but they came wrapped up nice to prevent any damage. Sounds to me like hes done right by everyone.

However guy needs to send back the 5 speed ecu, he expected the correct ecu to be sent so the incorrect one needs to be sent back now that the situation is rectified. Just my .02 cents.

 

Nobody is crying. This is a feedback section for sellers and I'm leaving my experience as buyer from you so people can see it. Yes I did receive a refund only after lie upon lie and I made a thread calling you out. Not to mention 2 months after waiting for a part to show up to finish up. As mentioned multiple people responded to it having had the same issues as I did. Your theory makes me laugh. You're still a scumbag just like the others but just a better scumbag.

I bought a few small parts from him and had no issues. It was a good deal, shipped quickly, and good communication.

 

So did the OP ever send the ECU back to b18ctrb?

Wow. So I'm not the only one. Bought a under dash fuse cover from him. Never got it. Only lost $15 to him. But that still doesn't make right though.

I understand b18ctrb people coming on here expecting to purchase brand new parts (even though its listed as used) at less than junk yard prices but still expect retail store service. with same day shipping. immediate refunds if they ordered the wrong part or too stupid to install correctly. but if nothings sent then thats on you

I cant tell you how many times people have come on here bitching about not getting a tracking number or hearing back from the seller the day after they sent payment and how they think they are being scammed and put a paypal dispute and they never own up to being wrong when the thing shows up at their door a day or two later.

And SC34dc4 stop CRYING and get over yourself a refund is a refund. This isnt a store. As a seller you receive money with the intent to use it... bills, drugs, hookers, whatever your fancy. You dont plan on being asked for a refund. So that money might not be there for immediate return like you may want. Buy from a store if you want that. back in the day every thread on here use to say ALL SALES FINAL as it should to end bullshit like this

as for HondaMechanic24 maybe you should some post some details about this $15 to clear the air

seems to me that you receiving your refund is a RESOLVED issue. Which would leave you just bashing the seller after the fact because "being a scumbag or a better scumbag" is not a factual post. Any grudge you wanna hold on him is just a personal problem
