my friend did an H2b with the JDM h23 bluetop vtec stock motor but it wont run hard unless he advances the timming on the dizzy but then it iddles at 1,500 but if he retards the timming it idles normal but doesnt run as hard. it wont even chirp into second.
what could be the problem? everything is obd2.

 

h2b? what tranny and what shell? just some more info. and i've never had any experience with h or f series. sorry man

 

recheck over everything with wiring. check your tps correctly and maf.

 

Which ecu? If everything is all fine and dandy. It needs to be tune.

 

Its a 98 civic hatch
and its a CTR trans
chipped p28 step down

 

GET IT TUNED. advance the timing and adjust the idle screw so it runs correctly for now.
