I have a 97 integra gsr. It dies out on me while i''m driving. Won't start back up and none of the lights on the cluster lights up. until I let it sit for 1-2mins it fires back up. I've swap it with a working main relay and problem still occurs. I've also swapped it with a working distributor and the problem still occurs. I've also swapped out the ignition switch and the problem still occurs. Now I am stumped. please any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking maybe some kinda of wiring somewhere. Also i've checked all of my fuses and they are all good. also my car isn't not throwing up any CEL.

 

Try checking the grounds...

 

Sounds like the coil is overheating, but you replaced the distributor so that eliminates that possibility. Probably wiring some where.
