Hey HT,

Going to get some HIDS for my headlights. I know that the low beam is 9006 and the high beam is 9005, so my question is which bulb is which? 9005 for the inner part and 9006 for the outer part of the headlight or vice versa? Someone please help me out.

I guess what I'm trying to say is what bulb goes into what socket? cause there's two sockets in each headlight so I wanted to know which one is 9005 & 9006.

 

are you planning to do high and low beams ? and each bulb has different sockets

 

the outside bulb is low beam an the inside bulb is high beam

 

Your regular lights, low beam, are 9006's. When you look at the part the clip goes into you'll see one line that sticks up. You high beams are 9005's, when you pull your healight leaver towards you and it clicks and your highs comeon. When you look at those bulbs they have two lines that stick up. They do that so you wont put the wrong bulb in the wrong socket. Safty feature.
