so im doing my wire tuck and what not.... went to hook up my battery after all of this and its relocation... when i hooked it up POOF white smoke from under the dash.... i had some wires grounded together that i guess are not supost to be there. i had the black wire coming from brake booster reservoir and a ground from a sensor that plugs into the power steering hard line. i dont have my PS and more. my question is..... is the black wire coming out of the reservior a ground or not.... i dont have a helms at the moment or i would look myself!!!
Also can i remove the plug and wires from the sensor thats not there anymore when removing the power steering?

I don't have my helms in front of me so I can't say for sure... but why in the heck are you doing a wire tuck without factory wiring diagrams handy?

 

ok so i looked at a helms and its definitely a ground coming out of the reservoir. anyone know why i would have ground wires burn up?
