Default Cel code 0170 0172, i searched and nothing

ok so i was driving home from school today and my check engine light came on. I was already by autozone so i decided to stop by and see what it was and it was p0170 p0172. i already know that p0172 is to rich but i have no idea what p0170 is.

ive replaced the following
Primary o2 sensor with a ntk
purolator fuel filter
ngk spark plugs
ngk wires
new cap
supposedly the previous owner changed the rotor but idk what its supposed to look like
two bottles of sea foam
oil
oil filter
tranny fluid
and a filter i had laying around because i got it without one
and i cleaned the iacv

so heres the problem in the morning when its cold out the car will have trouble getting out of first gear when i rev it or something it doesnt really move it just acts like it wants to die this only happens after i start moving then when i come to a stop, and my idle fluctuates between 100 and 1100rpm not constantly it happens at random times but mostly in the morning when its cold. i used to get horrible gas milage like maybe 15mpg or lower after i changed the fuel filter its gotten better but it still a little bad. and it feels sluggish but not to sluggish. After the car warms up it feels fine. still has the sluggish feeling to it but it feels good

my mods are i/h/e straight pipe w/ a cat but it think its an aftermarket cat it looks a little small to a muffler

IVE SEARCHED SEARCHED AND SEARCHED BUT NON OF THE THREADS NEVER HAVE ANY ANSWER THEY ALWAYS STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF TROUBLE SHOOTING SO DONT TELL ME TO SEARCH WHEN I HAVE SEARCHED

Sucks to have such a problem when you have already changed pretty much everything and it did not work.
I would recommend you reset the ECU if you haven't done it yet and then check ignition timing.

Hey, take a look here - http://www.clubintegra.com/board/sho...50&postcount=3
I believe, P0710 is reserved and does not mean anything, but the P0712 is for Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor. Is there such a sensor? I donno...

First do you drive an auto?

there's is an ATM temp sensor...if that's what the code really is take a look at that sensor.
I'll try and find some info on it for ya.

edit: good linkhttp://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/

P0710= trans temp sensor malfunction
P0712= trans temp senor CKT Low Input

If you have a volt meter you can try and diagnosis it. I believe the code pretty much means the ECU isn't getting the right voltage from the temp sensor so you need to figure out why. could be that sensor is bad, high resistance, etc. probably a faulty sensor.

this could be the cause of poor fuel. Does the tranny do anything else that's doesn't feel right?

do you have any type of exhaust leak?

Some how on my two piece header two nuts fell off that hold the two pieces together and that caused my too rich condition.

P0170= fuel trim malfunction. Random idle between 100rpm&1000rpm is an IACV in need of cleaning. P0170 is not a factory honda code for a manual trans, thats why no one knows what it is. For a mercedes its fuel trim malfunction(coherent with your fuel problem). On a gm its for a primary o2 sensor. Good Luck.

Ok great. If I didn't read your original post I wouldn't have taken the time to look up what the codes were coherent to. Which apparently you did already.

Good luck with the problem because obviously me listing things to try to help you out does nothing but generate a remark for you about "oh I already did that."

Take it to a dealer because you have a code that doesn't even exist on a manual integra. Someone has already stated it only appears on an automatic transmission integra.
