I don't have any pics sorry, I'll try to get some taken soon. it's my neighbors car, he's not the most cpu literate.


the story is....he blew the motor, couldn't afford to fix it. went bankrupt, then bought thecar from the bank for like 500 bucks. so he has the title, and it is clean to my knowledge. he bought a new car, and needs to get rid of the civic, because he wont' have time to finish the project.

 

if he bought it for 500 bucks, then why wont he sell it to us for like 1000? $500 turnaround.

 

because it was his car to begin with, bought it for 14000, so he payed on it for a few years, besides, that doesn't really matter, it's still a good price for a 97 project car.

 

is there anything else wrong with it besides the blown motor?

 

trans is prolly bad as well, it needs a full swap. but physically it's fine, it has never been wrecked. seats are fine, but the plastic interior parts where painted, then stripped, and should be swapped out, or repainted in flat black.

Sorry to butt into your post Antonio but I think that price is damn f*cking good for a 97 ex... **** another $500.00 or so for another SOHC motor and they can turn around and sell it for at least $5k... so stop complaining about the damn price.
