Default help with GSR mods

i posted a few days ago and decided to go with the 98 complete gsr. i have a spoon head gasket, shaves about 45 thou, type r cams, lightened fly wheel and really nothing else. the engine is out of the car now, but i would like to know what to do to get more horsepower without spending alot of money

do pistons rods and rings now!!! if you want hardcore, go JDM ITR pistons...a LITTLE more moderate, USDM ITR pistons. perfect time to do it.

Good advice. The JDM ITR P73-A00 pistons would bring you up to about 11.7:1 compression ratio. That's a decent jump. You could probably get away with the stock rods, but I wouldn't suggest it. I'd get the Crower econo jobs, or Eagle rods. Replace the bearings if you open all that up.
