I'll be doing an LS motor swap into my 89 Si hatch in the next few months. I know that all motor mount kits get the job done depending on quality but, I was curious on what every one is using. I'm looking at both HASPORT and INNOVATIVE. I noticed that HASPORT uses only 3 mounts but, INNOVATIVE has 3 mounts plus they make the front tranny mount as well. I'm leaning towards INNOVATIVE for their price but, HASPORT's been around for quite some time now. Input from anyone that's had experience with either one would be great. Thanks in advance.
You'll be happy with either one. Just chose the urethane that suits your needs.
Innovative does have a lower urethane stiffness for their street mounts. 60A vs Hasport's 62A. Not sure that matters for you

Thanks for the response Ludster.
I am curious about the engine/motor placement of the mounts. Are the HASPORT mounts placed differently from the INNOVATIVE mounts due to the lack of the front transmission mount? Is the front transmission mount really necessary? Why does INNOVATIVE use a front tranny mount and HASPORT doesn't? Which ever company I go with I'll be getting the Street stiffness for the bushings/urethane.
