Yeah you can use the D series throttle body on a B series...you can use a B series on a D series. You can use a F or H series also on either. I'm just not sure why someone would want to use a smaller throttle body. If you're scrounging to get the motor running, go ahead. If your B series is acting up, you can salvage the TPS and MAP and put them on the B series.

You can get a B series throttle body pretty cheap. I can get them for $15 at my local junkyard.

 

i believe b series and d series are the same only the b20 is bigger

The bolt pattern is the same. I believe it goes something like VX < CX < LX/DX/SI < B18 LS/B20 < GSR <ITR < F/H series < K series < mustang 90mm

If anyone has measurements, please post. I probably have at least a couple wrong there.

You would probably be better off swapping the TPS or MAP over instead of the whole TB.

 

yeah im gonna swap over the sensors then, they wont give me any problems? had a hx motor in it now have a b18b1 both obd2
