Icon2 Bride Seats Please Help!!

I want to buy these seats but I don't know if they are real Bride seats, I cant find an official Bride website, and this listing says they are made in Taiwan NOT in Japan, why would it need to say that? I really want these but do not want a fake product, please help me out if you know anything guys..Thanks in advance!

low max are folding versions also. not a fixed seat. honestly what does it matter if they are fake, if they look the same and perform the same, then why pay more IMO.

Your sig speaks volumes about your quality preference.

By the way, a seat is not a performance issue. Would you trust your safety on the road to a seat from CSK or Autozone?

GOod finaly some one saying something about safety!

real Bride are either Tested / QC passed
and some bride seats are FIA approved

just make sure you dont pick up a fake seat with a fake QC sticker

look fake to me Sherlock.

#1: BRIDE IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK IN TAIWAN, THESES SEATS ARE NOT MADE IN JAPAN.
#2: Color of cloth: BRIDE Gradation cloth with BRIDE Logo.

looks to be a nice knockoff tho.

my replica are made of carbon kevlar, and i didnt pay 1/3 of the price. lol, they will hold up in a wreck just as good as the real thing i will assure you that. The whole real thing has nothing to do with safety its all about the boner for being real.

If they have a fake QC sticker, dont you think thats grounds for a law suit in the situation someone gets hurt thanks to the seats.. which i doubt will happen, i mean i havent been in serious wrecks with cheap racing seats and suffered less of an injury thanks to the seat alone of the OEM ones, when my passenger was seated in a OEM seat, no not at all.

My sig is me representing my sponsor, how about that..? i would hate to if i were you, its ok. silly HT people.

So you're basing your safety knowledge on .... ? The fact that you like the part? Good show.

And I don't care if your sponsor is PWJDM. I'd be embarrassed if they tried to sponsor me. I do not own, and will never own any PW:JDM products. I've had some in the past, I was not impressed. I do not like their business model, I do not like what they've done to the scene, and I do not like their shitty parts. They will carry a legitimate part with actual RnD put in to it until they can replicate it, then sell their replica at 2/3 the cost of the real deal product. Then they drop the real deal product and act like they came up with the idea for this AWESOME new strut bar or fender washer or whatever nonsense they're peddling this week.

By the way, I've seen your car. Buying parts from a company does not constitute sponsorship. Your car is a bucket, and so was your last one. You couldn't get sponsored by an Autozone.

*sigh* You haven't gotten me on anything.

This isn't about the strength of quality controlled safety tested materials. I never said fiberglass was unsafe.

This is about products being replicated from the original and produced as cheaply as possible.

its ok little guy, think what you will. Seeing as i didnt finish the last one before it got dommed, was no where near close, and thats funny on your opinion on my new one, seeing as how i have gotten more compliments than haters on it. and seeing as its not complete nor anywhere near done yet. lol.

well when i get some extra money i ll be sure to buy a replica bucket made of fiber glass and have it tested on how regular seats are tested or fancy buckets are tested.

This has to be one of the most absurd and ignorant post I've ever encounter lmao. Silly ricers these days. Being sponsored by password:shitdm is nothing to brag about buddy lol. Here, you might like this video.

And as far as the fake will withstand impact just as good as the real one? Lmao. Wow just wow. And how can you assure this again?
Yea I'm sure all your shitty Taiwanese and password shitdm seats go through all these test too eh? Lol.

Not trying to start the whole fake vs. real debate. However if OP is talking about using seat on the street, being FIA approved isn't really the issue is it? The question would better be, is whatever seat hes looking at an improvement over the stock seat, for safety, or whatever other criteria you are using to rank them?
