Im having some probs with my ac in my 97 accord. this past summer (august) i had the ac tested and freon refilled and the ac was running fine until it started gettin cold in october and i was using the heater. since im n the south the weather is crazy. so when its hot enough to run the ac, i turn the dial back to cool only to not feel any cool air. i had it refilled a 2nd time and again no cool air. what's the problem?
Does the compressor clutch engage? Does the heater valve move? Does the blend door move? Without having performed any system checks you can't expect anyone to know what's wrong with your car.
turn the ac on and see if the clutch engages first. if so, grab the large line coming off the firewall and it should be cold if the ac is working. if it is, and you don't have cool air, the heater valve may be stuck open. you can manually close it next to the firewall and see if your air blows cold.
