97 accord v6 p0305 cyl 5 misfire issue!!! need serious help..
ok heres the deal. i am quite mechanically inclined, and i am still having trouble figuring this out. i have a 1997 honda accord v6 sedan. it has 194k miles on it and running quite strong id say. recently the issue ive had was a check engine light (cel) has come up and shot up a p0305 (cyl 5 misfire) and another code for random/multiple cyl misfire. i ran a dry test on all cylinders and assured that 5 has malfunctioned. ive tried everything.... changed all the plugs, all the wires, ignition cap, ignition rotor, ignition module, and fuel injector. ive also run a cylinder compression test to see if there was a leak and there wasn't. if anyone else has a f**kin clue to what the issue is, i would greatly appreciate the advice. thank you in advance for looking. Also I forgot to mention another note that this occurs usually when the car warms up to operating temperature.

Had same thing around 200,000 miles, changed plugs, wires, rotor and cap, finally got $100 diag from Firestone. It was clogged EGR ports. Had them cleaned up, everything's great. Good luck and Happy New Year !
Have you removed and checked for an actual spark on #5 Plug? Also, you can use a noid light...to check to make sure the #5 injector is getting open/close signal. Finally if it is...remove that bank of injectors...and with only the #5 injector connected to its plug...aim it in the cylinder while trying to start...look for squirt of fuel.
