firends have a 1989 CRX HF and it doesnt blow hot air.

they have tore it down and tested the heater core that it blows blows. it hasnt been flushed. he thinks it may be the doors not opening and closing correctly.

supposably they checked the thermostat not sure if there is a way to tell if it works or not.

if its not flushed should it still heat up?

anyone have any ideas? they tear things apart before finding out what may be wrong but I am trying to help them

is there a way to check to make sure the hoses are plugged?
