Default Whats the chance of ripping my subframe out?

I've been looking at getting the ASR 24mm rear sway bar for my 92 da. I don't have a subframe brace at the moment, and i've read some stories about a bigger then oem sway bar ripping the subframe out. I've only got enough cash for either the sway bar or the brace, I can't afford both. I don't take my car to the track or do autox or anything (yet) so im not gonna be putting it under an extreme amount of stress just driving it daily. I am trying to get it track ready so my question is, which should I buy first the sway bar, or the subframe brace? and if I run the sway bar without a brace (driving daily) percentage wise, whats the chance of the subframe actually ripping out? Thanks guys

Ok nvm. I decided to just go ahead and get the asr brace first and then just get a itr sway bar later.

Yea that's a no brainer might even save you the trouble to just get both then put them in together

Idk why everyone thinks that getting a car "track ready" means nodding it till it's ready for f1 or something. A 24mm bar is a bit big. I would track the car stock (with decent tires, brake pads, and fluid). Then learn the car/learn to drive and figure out if a 24mm freaking whale ***** is the right choice.

Most people that try to build a race car before going to the track either never make it to the track (because there's always something else dumb..like a spoon reservoir sock....that they NEED before they hit the track). Or they get to the track and find the car is so shitty because they built it off of uneducated assumptions.

Not trying to be harsh. It's just how it is.

But he's no wasting his money on res. socks. He's making his suspension a lil stiffer for the track that's all.

He even changed his mind and said he's using a itr one

Ha exactly. I get what that guys saying though. It's not like im just getting the brace and sway bar as my first suspention piece. i've already got skunk2 pro s coilovers, skunk2 front camber kit, megan rear camber kit, and a nuespeed strut bar, so im just taking what to me seems like the next logical step as far as handling is concerned. We dont have a track near austin where i live so thats why i havent drivin it as is on a track. we do have a road called limecreek which is pretty much the hardest road to drive in austin so i just use that as my track
