My work just offered me a job as an IT Manager in Seattle. I'm moving up there within a month all expenses paid.
Does anyone know of good race & body shops up there? Where Auto-X's are held? Any events in washington? Thanks all.

i know there are a lots of ppl up in the NW area. I used to live up there. but dont anymore You will like it beside the rain kida gets anoying, but oh well. Seatlle is sweet As for ppl on the board, i sent you an IM.

 

Im in the Seattle area. PPI, R-Sports, and Garage SPL are pretty much the shops I go to . Autocross is held at Pacific Raceways and Boeing Field (Everett plant), both require club memberships. The NW is so cool, besides the rain...which was mentioned.

 

A bunch of the guys from Garage SPL were in Spokane today showing of their Skylines. Two R33's. Very nice

we usually have at least two events per month between clubs sometimes more.

The rain isn't too bad, plus it gives you an advantage over the Rear wheel drives at events...

I'm here! There was just and autocross last sunday at the Port of Seattle.. Very cool! They are held at Pac. raceways, bremerton and everett. all of those sights are about 30 min from seattle.

As for shops, I can't help you out, I buy all my stuff online and do all my own work.

You have Pacific Raceways near seattle. Portland International in Portland (duh) and Mission Raceway up just across the canadian border. Then Spokane Raceway over on the eastern side of the state. And Bremerton Raceways is across the sound from seattle.

 

I just need to know of a good bodyshop to redo my bodykit and position a CF hood soon. thanks again and jspeks NW board is great, i'm a member now.
