i know that in a lot of places jammers are illegal and in some places even detectors are too. but i was wondering if itd be possible to stash a detector and jammer like in a bumper or something? cause then you couldnt be caught with it unless the cop wants to dismantle your car. has anyone tried this or heard of people doing this?

 

I used to have an old Beltronics model back in the day that had the sensor behind the bumper. I mounted the display in one of the flip-close bins that goes under the radio. Worked great for an older generation detector.

I'll see if I can find a more modern analog, you've piqued my interest.

I have a remote mount Radar detector I pulled out of my Impala.The sensor mounts behind the grille,and control box can be placed just about anywhere in the interior of a vehicle.Im not going to re-install it in anything,so if your interested Ill take 75.00 plus shipping for it.
It worked great,but i have no use for it now,and its just taking up Garage shelf space.
