What intake for GSR manifold on EG w/ ABS?
Car: 1994 Civic Si ABS
Engine: JDM B18C w/ stock GSR intake manifold
I bought an aftermarket intake before the swap and have come to find out it doesn't fit because my ABS is pretty much right next to the throttle body. I put on a stock B16A intake arm and it works because the rubber can bend over the ABS brake lines. Just wondering if anybody has experienced this before.

Who has ABS? You either need to cut or bend something or find something that will work. If that means getting a couple pieces of mandrel bent piping and another coupler, do it.
I think I should stick with silicone and rubber intakes, like the Samco, or maybe a stock ITR, because I can't find any aluminum intake that can fit.
Yeah it's tempting because the engine picks up quite a bit when the IABs open, probably because I have a CTR intake cam. But I like the low end torque for driving around town, that's the whole reason I stuck with the gsr manifold. But yeah a skunk2 would create a lot more space and I could put on any intake I wanted.
Just put a 90 degree bend on that bastard and put it through the fire wall into the a/c box problem solved
cold air intake lol jk
I ran into the same prob with me old coupe I just swapped out the brake lines for non ABS and did a line tuck.

BTW...nice cold air intake idea I was crackin dude. Signature worthy!
lol thanks. Its not as hard as it looks. you just need to have a good 3 or 4 days to pull the engine and drop the sub frame to get to the lines. good luck with what ever you do man.
