Default Swapping 97 LS non-vtec into 97 Civic DX

i am in process of putting a ls swap in my 97 honda civic dx and sum of my friends have told me i have to use a civic si b16 trans bracket for the back mount and the civic si b16 upper driver mount that bolts to the block if any1 knows a different way or if this is acurate please let me know thanks i am new to the 96 up stuff also worked on the eg so not sure all about it thanks

That info is correct, rear bracket and the cast iron mount that bolts to the block need to come from a '99 - '00 Si (actually the cast iron mount can come from a '97 - '01 CR-V as well)

can the ls bracket not work if the ls is already obd2 or is there sumthing different abount the back brackets

the brackets are different, use the 99-00 si t bracket

k i am having trouble finding a si bout to just order one i guess cant find one used at all

Majestic Honda sells them for around $43 brand new.

dang wish i would have knew i ordered 1 yesterday and cost mr 60 bucks shipped ow well just glad ill be able to put the ls in by the weekend hopefully
