Trying to install some OEM foglights and I have to remove the lower dash cover. One of the screws is covered by the coinbox and the instructions simply say "remove coinbox".
Well, it's easier said than done. I feel like I might break the darn thing trying to take it off. I depressed the two upper tabs so that the coinbox will open wider but from there I dont' know what to do.

You need to shove a tapered tip, [plastic is best but a "flat" screwdriver with tape will work] at the hinge point to spread the plastic, then you can "pop" the tray out. 94
if it's the same as a DA (i suspect it is) one side will have a slight taper on the pin. but yeah, you can just pop it out. honda abs plastic is very flexible

I used a flat screwdriver and gently pried on the left side while pulling the coinbox out. The peg was slightly damaged but should still be functional.
Thanks for the tips!
