Default How to wire vtec back up

i recently had hondata s300, in my car and my local shop "pfi speed" was installing it and going to tune it for me, the were using some weird ecu that didnt have vtec so they had to make a vtec relay, so s300 didnt work out and now im just using the stock b16 ecu, but i was wondering if you guys could help me figure out how to wire the vtec up so that it engages properly like it should! there 4 wires going to a little black bow or "relay" that has five prongs theres a green wire, black and two red ones that are connected toeach other just want to know how to put it back together stock any info helps thanks!!

When you say S300 didn't work, do you mean that Vtec didn't engage?
When you use a relay for Vtec with S300 in a non vtec ECU you need to make sure that on the Vtec tab that the VTEC OUTPUT FOR NON-Vtec ECUs parameters are setup correctly, enabling it and selecting the correct output you are using.

no the s300 worked great! i have a poor mans r setup and i was having them tune that on a 60 shot, i thought i was going to sell my car so i sold my hondata and now the vtec relay is still there, now if i want use my vtec i take the green wire and plug it into the middle prong of the relay, but then my vtec is engaged all the time its a mess i wish i could explain things better but to be honest i dont even know what they did!
