Time for new dizzy?
So a couple of days ago my 91 ef sedan randomly died after a stop sign. Thought it was timing belt since i wasnt getting spark. Later found out the screw for the rotor fell out
But after cleaning the cap and getting a new rotor the screw wont go in on the correct side of the distributor shaft. I was thinking about drilling it out and trying to re thread with a pointy screw but im not sure if thats a good idea.
Also, when i tried using a different screw to hold the rotor and starting it up it sounded like death. I did tap the starter a few times to get a good angle at the screw. So i ask, is my dizzy fried? No codes relays clicks and fuel pump i believe is good.
