please help soon freezing my ass off
Okay i got a 1991 hatch with a b18a1. My heat stopped working and its 20 degrees. I was thinkin about the Blower Motor Resistor but im not sure cuz it doesnt work at all. I was also thinking it was the Blower Motor its self but id likee trouble shoot it before i go buy a new one. Does anyone know where the Blower Motor relay switch is? Also does anyone know how to test the resistor? i was thinking about removing it the putting a hot and ground on t motor its self to test the motor. is that correct? please help soon freezing my *** off

There is also a fuse/fuses for the motor. When my blower motor resistor was bad, I didn't have positions 1, or 2... but 3 and 4 worked.
Check the fuses if you've got 'nothin'. Does the climate control LIGHT UP (Turn on interior lights/headlights to check).
So
1) Fuses
2) Climate control power?
3) All Fan positions? Do the Flaps/Vents close (is it cable or electric? I'm CRX so mine are electric).

They are not on the blower motor. They are in the fuse box. I'm a CRX guy, but mine are under the driver side kick panel. There is a sticker. They are labeled. Also, there is another fusebox under the hood, also labeled. Check the fuses there. I do not know if the blower motor uses a 'regular' automotive fuse or a special goofy looking 'Special' fuse. Look at sticker, match to fuse, let us know.

Under the passenger side of the dash,
Check for voltage and also ground using the two wires
from the plug..

If it is the blower motor itself, You can sometimes tap
on the silver part in the pic and it will start working again..
