Default 5th gen, Energy Suspension kit

I'd rather drop this in H tech. I hope I'm not rethreading this.

I was doing an internet search on ES (damn its late, forgive my grammer or spelling) and came across some hillbilly retard that said "Oh i have installed the type SH master kit on 5th gen base. That poster eluded that it was a exact fit.

I am posting to tell you it is not, but after working with ES I have good news if you plan on pulling the suspension out and replacing the +10 year old rubber.

First off this is the Master kit for the sh part number: 16.18113, and is for the most part meant for SH's. I used about 70 perent of the kit. (If my set backs can help others then g2g.) Okay this is gonna be shibby for some until you work with the kit or the ES parts the numbers are gonna look foreign.

This Master kit contains mini-kits(referred to as kits)

16.3119 (50 percent used) --Front end control arm bushing
Only discrepency : 2573 and 2574 are 3-2.9mm too big
--Replace this with universal kit 9.9482 link/flang bushings (actually fits perfectly in place of the 16.3119 LCA bushings @ the subframe)

16.7108 (0 percent used) --Front radius rod set, if you have purchased a SH master kit for your 5th base the front radius rods do not work.
--Replace with 16.7103, 92-96 prelude

16.8106 (100 percent used) --Front shock bushing.

Not in the kit but good to know, 16.13101 (packed as a 4pk: 2 big, 2small) are replacements for the ball joints dust boots in the front/rear. Should you mangle yours up like I did with mine with a ball joint remover. Also the replaced parts of the sh master kit only set me back 40 bucks plus shipping.

Note: I am only working on the front of the prelude for now. I will follow up with the *** end soon. I cannot attest to the actual fitment in the rear.

16.3112 --Rear control arm bushing set.
Supposedly by ES that the rest of the rear end kits fit all 5 gen bushings.

16.8108 --Rear shock bushing set.

16.7105 --Rear radius arm bushing set.

Front and rear bump stops: 16.9102 and 16.9101

Coil spring isolater set: 16.6103 and 16.6101

I removed all my bushings by torch and it's really not that hard to do. It's mental game if you think its gonna be hard then you'll defeat youself before you try. In some cases you will have to remove a shell, follow the directions, I used a recipercating/ jig saw and a old philps head plus hammer to remove the shell. Once the integrity of the shell is broken, the shell will come out. some examples on youtube if you want to google them. I hope this helps!
