water in tranny....
What's going on fellas so it was raining here and I go to my parents house to pick up my si tranny and my dumb dad left the tranny outside so it got rained on is it totally destroyed or can I salvage it thanks
some guy i bought a tranny from left his chillin outside for the winter, i took a chance and bought it, installed it, drained what was left of the old fluid and put new fluid in and it worked great.
yea you should be fine, if you think about it the tranny gets wet alot when you drive in the rain. If your worried though you could change out the fluid (which is usually a good idea anyway on older Honda transmissions...)
lmao same **** happened to me but i left my a6 at my dads house under a tarp and when i came to pick it up there was all kinds of water inside it lol, didnt **** anything up just surface rust on the cylinder walls all clean right off
Dang, I never knew this, we gave my friends tranny away thinking it was messed up! Well I got a Si tranny if you'd want to buy one I'm out n Bako as well, or anyone interested, just sayin
