I just put a OBD2 LS valve cover on my da with a b18a1 motor. I noticed that there is a hole in the middle of the back of the valve cover where, on a crv or obd2 integra, another breather line connects. I cont have another line to connect to it so idk what to do. When the car is running, air is puffing out of the hole. should i plug it or put a breather filter on it? thanks guys

 

pcv. reconnect it to where your old one went into the intake. DO NOT PLUG IT

 

One pcv is already connected to the intake on the back left side of the vc. should I re-route it to that top hole?

 

That's not your actual pcv valve. That's just to help create some vacuum in the system. Should be a little black box on the back of your motor and that connects to a pcv valve that's in your intake manifold.

Your pcv systems are setup differently on obd-1 cars then obd-2. On obd-1 cars the pcv valve is in the intake manifold and on the obd-2 it's on the valve cover. Just extend the hose that went to your stock pcv and put it in the valve cover.

 

ok, i will do this. can i then leave the original pcv disconnected? thanks for your help.
