Transmission or what Not sure 90 Accord
I bought this 90 Accord, already done alot of work to it. the problem is when I am driving down the road, it seems to jump a little not sure if it is the trans or something else, the car also seems to idle a little rough. Just trying to get some idea of what to check, this is my first Honda. Hope I am doing this right thanks for your time Joe
Its not really jumping out of gear or down shifting just jumping a little. Not really sure what it is thanks again.

Is this rpm specific, meaning at a certain rpm the jumping happens. Are all of the regular maint stuff up to date-plugs-cap-rotor-wires-filters-ect...
No if driving at 45 or 55 miles per hour it seems like almost a miss more than a slip i changed the rotor and cap and plugs not the wires yet i just bought the car trying to work out the bugs seems to shift ok. Thanks for trying to help. The tach seems to stay smeteady except when cold, service engine light comes on sometimes but goes back off. Thanks for your help.
GET THE CODES, it will help solve the mystery. Search the FAQ for where the connector is located, (memory here) blue 2 pin connector under glove box. I was going for another issue, that does not always trip codes. If it is coming on, there are stored codes that should help identify the issue....should have asked about that as well.
I will check and see if I can get a code, and see what it says thank you for your time. I tryed to look through the faq not sure what to look for.
Sorry, don't have the procedure at home for that model, ? 90 might be the flashing led on the computer. Might try google and see if there is anything there.
You are right the 90 has a red led on the ecm, and it has a code 12 stored EGR valve or I read it could be the EGR control solenoid. I read to take the vacum house off of the EGR and see if it stops jumping or bucking or whatever you call it. It seems help, now I just need to replace the right part and clean the EGR ports, I guess that is what you call them. I thank I will also clean the IACV Hope that is right thank you for your time.

If it were me, I'd do the cleaning first. EGR ports (have code) then IACV if the issue is still there, I don't really think the IACV is the issue. EGR valves can go bad, rare, if the port cleaning doesn't help then test the solenoid, then then clean and check the valve before just replacing......does this seem to only happen when the car is warmed up???
