So I am browsing around craigslist to get my self my first car. Ive been looking up various cars and integra`s spark my interest. So I happen to find a integra gsr for what i think is a reasonable price. I don`t know much about them thats why i was wondering what you guys think?

its not a bad price but id check on carfax or something for the salvage title. and its a bit odd that he says bone stock yet it has aftermarket suspension. price is good, just ask tons of questions and do your research.

 

Lets see. All stock Totaled due to theft of seats and cluster Integras don't get totalled because of seat theft. Carfax it and see how bad the wreck that it was in was.

 

Not only that..... if im not mistaken the seller said that the picture isnt even the picture of the car.... so yeah......

 

KEEP LOOKING BRO...You will find one with real pics of the car, and detailed info. Grab the VIN, and CARFAX, not carfox...

 

I got my DA bone stock besides lowered on front full coilovers and rear springs as well as a short shifter. nothing else had been molested, and the guy wasnt lying. It was the most trouble i have ever had removing an intake. but that was just a fluke so to speak, i would still be cautious about it. if i were you i would just look for a different car.

 

If the guy can't even bother to post pics of his own car for the listing I would keep looking. If he's hiding a picture of his own car who knows what else may be hidden.

Deffinately sounds kinda suspicious. However when I got my '95 special edition it was very very suspicious, and the car was kinda dirty mainly on the inside. I ended up getting it for $3k, because I knew it had potential, just needed a good detail, and a little other work here and there. To me I have to wiegh do I want to get a cheaper car, and spend a little to get it up to par, or do I want to spend more to get a cherry. In my area good Integras arent common, so I bought mine, just depends how you look at it. But If youre looking down in LA I would assume you could find better deals.

 

has anybody ever heard of an insurance company totalling out a car for stolen seats and a cluster?
