KiddRacing issue
First and foremost, I'm not knocking Mike/Kiddracing, I know a few people who have gotten some things from him and never had an issue. However, I want this resolved.
Last Monday I got my header via FedEX. Here's the box I received...

I drop my header off at my shop, planned to get to it later in the week. Fast forward. Friday, crunch time for Imports VS Domestics, pull my trans, do my new clutch, drop the header get ready to install the new one and here's what we get...

Looks great, right? Wrong. First off we had to remove all the studs from the head just to get it to fit up here. Second, it's got 2 bolts holding it in place and the bottom half of the flange isn't touching the head what-so-ever. Ok, let's go underneath the car!

Header is not just touching the oil pan, but it's pressing so hard that's why we can maneuver it around on the front of the motor to bolt it up.
So, here's another issue...

So, we cut our losses for the races, put the old header back on and mated it back to the exhaust that's on the car. 11/6/10 I send 'VtecKiDD' a PM basically showing him exactly what this says. 3 days go by, 1.5 business days and no response. He's been active on the forums since then, made a few posts and bumped his FS thread, but no response.
Mike/VtecKiDD, what are you going to do about this? I read that some of the headers you produce don't work without "minor" manipulation of the header to get it to work, however, this requires a LOT more than minor fabrication. Also, this one comes packaged as 'H2B' as you can clearly see in the first image.

Well, it's been over a week since I contacted him. He's come to me on my FB status saying the following...
So, we exchange an email, I respond back, he responds back asking a question; but nothing since.
Have a feeling this will be a classic tale of getting dicked around. Seriously, shitty service. Should have expected that with someone in the knockoff business.
HT Pm system sucks i cannot tell you how many times i get people saying they PMed me and i have NOTHING.

Hes not the only one going thru troubles with this guy. he won't answer my pms. He answered my pms all the way until I payed for my header and then, nothing. We can see that hes signed in quite a few times.
I've opened a Paypal dispute, I suggest you do the same. Mike was quick to respond to my PM's when it was involving a purchase, however, once that money was sent, he was pretty quick not to respond.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon. It's $350.00, whether that's a lot or a little to you, it's $350.00 of my hard earned money.

In this case i asked Kurt what Mounts he was using.
Our DRAG header is NOT A BOLT ON H2B HEADER. I SAY THAT THROUGHOUT MY THREAD. SOME MODIFICATION IS REQUIRED. A true BOLT on header isnt possible due to the differences in oil pans and mount kits.
Everyone knows this.
I responded to your email DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.
I emailed you NOV 11th
"what oil pan is on the car, what mount kit? The header does sit VERY close to the oil pan, we have to do that otherwise it would drag the ground with the current mount kits that are out.
I have seen some variations in the oil pans that can make some clearance issues.
is the motor JDM or not?"
you responded back to me within 30 minutes. I was out sick friday. Today is the first day im back in the office.
Then you do a paypal dispute, which you will lose btw because as long as i have tracking i will win. DO you really think you are going to get your money back WHILE you still have my product?

I'm just a little leery, seems a little fishy about how there's multiple people I've gotten PM's from saying the same thing, you are quick to respond to PM's about placing an order, then claim HT's PM system sucks when it comes down to issues.

You said ask anyone... I think the HT PM system works just fine. I've never had a problem with it, and I've sent and received thousands.

yeah well i have 2000 PMs, and using mozilla sometimes it doesnt update what the new screen says.

not to choose sides but ive got the same product and had no major issues...I had to do a 15 min. fab, but thats it.
It came very close to the oil, I mean it was actually touching, but a 15 min fab fixed it.
you cant expect much technology/time/effort put towards a header that cheap.
