Need more clearance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good old LS/Vtec is going in my EF in a month or so, I'm worried about clearance, I saw a friend with a ZC hood and the new Hasport Billet monunts like the ones I'll be using. He had to cut out the crossmembers to keep the hood from rubbing because the new Hasport set up is better for axles, but not for hoods. Anyone have any insight as to which hood to get short of an SIR front end?
thanks
thanks
I had the bullfrog on my car, and it actually sat LOWER than stock, unless you cut out the botton of it, which would make it REALLY flimsy.
Plus, it's pretty godawful ugly.

well someone makes a SIR style carbon fibre hood for a USDM front end, so you don't have to change the Rad support or lights. Can't remember who it is though.

Positive, the new Hasport mounts move the engine a litle forward and higher than the old Hasport mounts, LS head would'nt be bad, it's the B16 head that's the problem. On the up side, the header should rub a litle less I guess
