hey guys need help with smog check

Hey whats up i ran into a prob i went to pay my tags and well i need a smog check I Live in LA abd no one will do it cause of the airintake i have and cause of the headers,

wouldnt it be easier if u went to p*ck & p*ll,get a stock header and intake,smog it,and return the parts when ur done for credit?
