okay quick question. Did a quick search but could not find anything. I need a f22 tranny for the long gears (boost) and im bolting it to my h22 . Is the SOHC f22 the same bellhousing as the DOHC? Really my question is do I have to get the f22 off of the DOHC? I called some dude who was selling the tranny and he didn't have a clue. Thanks for the info. Someone told me that both the SOHC and DOHC will both mount but I dont think this is right.

Yes this will work fairly easy as I have already done it but I had to make an adapter mount bc the way the tranny is made where the mount bolts up... I still have the accord tranny with the mount if your looking to buy one just pm me... I guarantee it to work and shift perfect I just went to a h22 tranny with hancuff gears mfactory final drive and quafe lsd also if you would like a pic of the adapter I would be glad to send you that also

 

Kinda late but thanks for they advice fellaz. So far I have picked up a f22 tranny and I got a h23 bottom end with a h22 vtec head. Now I gotta take the h23 head off and swap them. I already got my Venom intake, header, arp head studs, 70mm tb, jdm cams and a few other goodies. Still need a few extra parts but im getting closer.
