Findanza Fail ....
let start off with, i have a ls-vtec dc2, with at LS trans... great on gas... just really long gears...so i decided to swap too a fresh rebuilt GSR tranny... i also bought a new ACT pressure plate and 6puck combo... along with a new Findanza 10lbs flywheel.
too make a long story short, i noticed my stock flywheel was 1/2 inch thicker then the new findanza, but everything bolted up fine... or so i thought.
needless to say, after reinstalling my new trans, everything felt fine... when i started up the car i had a pluse feeling in my clutch pedal... hmmmm, i went to sink in my clutch which felt great, but i couldnt get into gear... any gear
anyways after removing my trans 2x i came to the conclusion that my flywheel was the problem... witht he slave off, there was a great amout of play in the fork, also it sat father back in the trans cut-out.
my question... why wouldnt findanza sell you a new throw out bearing with a longer nose to make up for the slack, or a longer piviot bolt for the fork...??
Findanza for the lack of info....
