Questions about Energy Suspension coil spring Islators
I have a couple of questions about these, you can find them here.

What do they do?, and what exactly are they? Are they worth replacing?
I have a 98 dx, skunk2 slip on coilovers, and stock shocks. They are orginal with 210k.
I was looking at the full ES bushing kit, but there are some bushings that i dont want, or for example these, i have no clue if i need them or not.
Thanks guys.

I just used them when I rebuilt my suspension. The OEM coil spring isolators looked beat up and thats about it. They werent cracked or dry rotted but like I said they were a little out of shape and I had the Energy Suspension replacements and said why not? Actually because you asked this I am going to do a little research and see what I can find about coil spring isolators.
Alright so they are just there to prevent metal on metal contact IE: spring touching top hat. Well poly is a lot more durable than rubber so I guess I dont ever have to worry lol.
oh, thats more then i have found out. I searched for a while and couldnt come up with anything.
I was looking at the full kit, and thought i could save a couple bucks by not buying these, and the ball joint/tie rod boots.
Thank you.
