Broken rear sway bar end links
I've had the luxury of having to replace my SBELs. One of them has been broken for I don't know how long. One of the links is only hooked up to the bar and not the LCA. The problem is I can't remove them. I blasted them with PB Blaster and let it soak for a few hours. I realized I had to get a hex key/allen wrench and set it in the hole of the threaded piece in order to remove the nut. No dice. I couldn't get the damn thing to budge. I tried some locking pliers but not even that is helping. I really don't wanna have to cut these POS seized parts off unless it's a last resort. Is there another way to get these things off without having to break out the Dremel?
Yeah. Ended up doing that anyways. Didn't have a source of decent heat laying around either. I just wanted to know if there was another way around it before I got hacksaw crazy. Lol. Thanks though.
