Default 98 type sh battery/wiring problem

I just bought a 98 type sh a few months ago and the previous owner had something set up so that you must press the sunroof button in order to start the car. I think this is set up by running something off the battery but I could be wrong, does anyone have any idea how this is set up and what i can do to return it to normal?

Do you have to turn the key as well, or is it setup like a push start button? How do you open your sunroof? Sounds like they crossed-wired it into the ignition switch; have fun undoing that.

you still have to turn the key, its just the engine won't turn over unless the button to close the sunroof is pressed down. the button is still fully functional for opening and closing the sun roof

Ah, could be a grounding problem somewhere then. Any other electrical problems?
