ok i havnt hooked up my 4 wires (you know what they are-b16to90si)and i just wanted to see if my **** started and with a few adjustments here and there that **** purrrrs.BUT...........when i rev it up to 7g's it just hovers(sp)there like, waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhwhaaaaaaahhhwaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh h,just like that!! did i get a ecu from an automatic and its cutting off at 7 g's or should i hook those wires up and see if that makes any different.

when i had them hooked up. but the temp sensor switched with some vtec one. it did same thing

is your check engine light on.. if it is. it won't rev all the way

 

FIrst off, what the **** are you doing revving an engine up to 7k while it is just sitting.. Thats how you spin bearings and all tha tother bs...

Hook up those 4 wires and then REV the **** out of it and see if the problem still exists...

normally a cold car wont rev past 7 until its warm

 

cold and revving to 7K not a good idea. it should be set at 4K reving standing still aitn that bad providing you have let your car warm up and oil is cirvculating

 

You're not making enough oil pressure so the rev limiter is going to kick in at around 7000k.

 

geez dude you sound like my dad!stop being so negative its not like im out there bringing it to redline all day! i did it once after it was warm i got scared and i havnt done it again.
