Default Do strut bars help drivability?

Just wondering if one or both of these are worth buying. Do you all feel the difference? I included possibilities for those who put them on and didn't like them. Thanks.

I hear about them, but for the price unless I was racing, I wouldn't buy them. I don't know anything about them. I've dumped so much $ already, I cannot afford them.

only if you're racing should you even care about it.. then, when you ARE racing, you should get a NICE bar unlike e-crap ****.. i run neuspeeds on my car... the front one is NON-ADJUSTABLE which means it was DESIGNED to work with ONE car, not many.. it has no pivot points to lose structural rigidity.. with the back bar, it uses 4 bolts apposed to 2 to mount the bar to the actual rear mounting plates which cuts down on the amt. the bar can pivot...

Yeah strut bars tighten up the chassis a bit, but they don't make the difference a nice rear swaybar will

Neuspeed Front and rear bars makes a huge difference in a hatch. Much tighter ride, makes the car feel solid I love them

Do the rear sway bar first and then spend some money on the neuspeed bars. I think the strut bars are like a finishing touch, last thing to do to complete the whole set up.

I put a front strut tower bar on my hatch. It made enough of a difference that i noticed as soon as i went through the curves. Think about it, under your hood you have a huge whole with no real solid brace going from one side to the other. When the body flexs most is due to the lack of solidity under the hood.So when you ad this brace, you force the whole front to have top flex as one instead of one side, creating a greater resistance. The rear is not a flexable due to the fact the roof acts as some what of a brace.

Ive got front and rear strut bars and a lower tie bar. Let me tell you....they stiffened the car up ALOT. I had the expensive ones on my saturn and i have the cheaper ones on my car now and i can tell NO difference. The only way that you can tell a difference is if you were using it for race only. I say get the cheaper ones and save up for more go fast goodies

I have an OMP front bar, and it's very strong. I have been told that the backs dont make much of a difference, so i just got a high quality front one instead. if i need to strengthen up the back, i'll put a cage in.

There's nothing wrong with the cheap ones. They function as intended and for the moeny saved, can get you the real upgrade that makes a difference, swaybar.

rexman is correct.......the purpose of a strut bar is to make a solid connection betweent eh strut towers, whe you buy a shitty strut bar that has pivot points and adjustable lenghts they dont work well at all!! maybe a little bit but way buy shitty parts?? remember this especially with your car YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!

and the biggest difference youll feel will be a rear sway bar...go get one, suspension techniques makes a really nice bar!!

Im my civic I like the difference, but Mine is tied into the roll cage rear and front, but if you do get one, dont get none of that apc crap or anything like that. for what it is worth, dont get one unless you are racing your car.

I couldn't tell any improvement in drivability with my front and rear bars.

I would say front and rear Sway bars, and polyurethane bushings.

I got the spoon sports front and rear strut bars and i could tell a big difference. The spoon bars are very nicely made and the rear is lower than with most other brands as they go up over the push outs on the rear panels and the spoon requires you to cut part of the rear interior for it to fit. But it was well worth it.
