Difference between stock tire sizes?
For stocker rims, I think the size is like 195/55-15? Right? I hear people getting bigger sizes? Why? What does it do? I need new front tires. I currently have stock tires on my 98gsr in the front. I have Perrilli P6000 on the back which are still like new (dealer replaced rear tires when i bought the car acura certified) So I am only going to replace the front ones.
Any ideas on some good rain tires? Im in CT and we get snow..but not that much, last year we had like 3 storms, lol. That doesnt warrent me to buy all seasons. I am going to be driving just back and forth to school and work. So I dont need race tires or summer tires. Ideas?

The Bridgestone Potenza RE92 comes stock on Preludes I believe.... IMO and in the opinion of many of my friends w/ Preludes these tires suck
..another friend of mine who has a WRX also has these on his car and gives them a
also.. they squeal pretty easily on turns and its not easy to chirp or peel out (even when your not trying to)... and in the rain they grip even less
since you mention snow and all season.. how about BFG KDW/S, Dunlop SP Sport 5000, or the Bridgestone Potenza RE950?

sorry.. the guy above (RedGSR) asked about the RE92's... and since they were on my ex-gf's prelude, couple of friends cars, etc.. I thought I'd comment... I dunno many people who have the RE950's..except for one guy w/ a 2K1 Civic but he doesn't really drive hard and I haven't had a chance to drive his car so I can't comment... they do get pretty high ratings on tirerack though..
I can ask him if I can drive his car on Monday.. but I just know him from work.. we're not homies or anything..so I dunno if he'd let me test drive and push his car.. but I'll try and see if I can give you an impression if he lets me take it for a spin 2morrow at lunch time or something...
came back from lunch not too long ago... he said NO what a punk Lolz I even offered to let him drive my car and I drive his to lunch... he said no wtf? he drives slow.. so I really couldn't tell you how they grip or handle... I don't know any1 else who has them sorry..
