Default 2002-era Si's- what to look for, especially for transmission

Just starting to do some research and wanted to borrow expertise--

If you were going to buy a 2002 si (or same body model) and were going to search based on model-specific issues and strengths, what would your top 3 qualifications be? I have heard of 2002 Si's having a issue with 2nd gear, but that's about it. I love the rally shifter, seats and want to have one again. Mine was great, but I only owned it for 15,000 miles when it was new.

Thanks.
