I know it really doesn't belong here, but I know a lot of business owners visit this section. I've been on dreamhost for 7 years or so now, and it seems like they have an issue with people hacking there servers and putting blame on the user themselfs. As of late we've been having some issues and are looking to change servers, just want to see whats out there and hear some opinions.

 

run your own server...high speed lines are cheap.
i currently have a comcast connection that does 30mbps+ and host my own stuff here at the house...if i need more speed i can up it to 105mbps for only $119 a month....

oh and your web page has a virus....just thought i would throw that out there.

Don't have the time to get into that, and yep I'm aware of the virus, site gets fixed almost every night and someone hacks back into it the next morning. Dreamhost blames us, but we've changed everything they told us to do, and if you search google about dreamhost hacking issues, well you'll see there faults.
