93 accord runs rough after warm
I have a five speed f22 car runs and drives great untill it reaches operatimg temp. At about five percent throttle it will rev up, anymore than that it sputters almost like a bad fuel filter or is running to lean. I am thinkin maybe a bad upstream o2 sensor. Or something to do with coolant sensor. There is no CEL however their may not be a bulb in it I just purchased the car
i messed with car a little this morning. the plugs were brown, also oil leaking into them from vc gasket. gonna replace this tomorrow. it was sputtering and backfiring when cold. changed out the map sensor and wouldnt start, so im guessing my old map was fine. Im thinking this could be a cat problem? or egr ports clogged. may try to swap over a 94 f22 intake mani and sensors. This car is boosted and has rc 660 injectors. ecu is fine done by a reputable tuner. Ive never messed with an accord so im not to sure where to start
If you have a hand vacuum pump, run the EGR diagnosis tests in this bulletin. You will also need something to plug the EGR vacuum hose for the second part of the test. A bolt works okay but better to use something rubber or plastic. I used pointy plastic cap that covers the pin on my multimeter. Autozone will lend a vacuum pump if you don't have one.
