alright so i havnt found anything that answers my question. Im swapping in a y8 andI just need to kno if the y8 harness will work for my car or do i have to use my stock one and convert it

No, convert the stock on to mpfi, add vtec wiring, use a p28 with a y8 basemap

 

alright well i can do the mpfi conversion and wire vtec but is there any other option for ecu's?

 

you can use any ecu you want but if you plan on running vtec, tuning, and converting to OBD1 like most people do, the P28 is a no brainer.

Just do some research man all the answers are out there.
