Default Tired of high idle. Solutions?

So my idle is around 2k whether the engine is warm or I just started it up. I have cleaned my IACV and I am pretty sure there are no vacuum leaks. The idle is really smooth and constant, just high. When I plug the hole on the inside of the TB, the idle drops to normal and is still very smooth (perfect). Is there possibly a problem with the fast idle solenoid? On second thought, I think the hole in the TB leads to the IACV. Is there a way to test the valve?
Thanks

First thought is that you have air inside your cooling system. Easy fix unscrew your bleed valve(top rad. hose),pour coolant in untill it overflows, tighten it up and top it off. If not cleaning your IACV with carb cleaner wont hurt your idle either.
