WTB: Daily Driver <$2,000
Before you waste your time reading the whole thread, I will not be purchasing the car until mid February 2011.
The reason I am looking so early is so that I have more than 1 option when car shopping. I am currently in Chicago but I am moving back home the first week of Feb, with my gf, who is looking for a daily car.
I am moving back to the San Fernando Valley (818) but do not mind driving a bit if the car looks like a good deal. Our budget is maxed at $2,000 (firm) and with this being said, I do not expect a perfect car, but even still, there are requirements that we would like to have met.
Requirements
We prefer that it has power options and an auto trans, although these arent huge factors.
She does not want a Del Sol nor Prelude and is not limiting this to Hondas.
I understand it's a bit early but maybe someone is planning on getting a new car in Feb or something lol.
Honesty is key. I don't mind doing some fix-it work so please be honest. I'm not a car idiot by any means so I'll probably find/hear whatever is wrong with the car anyway and I'll just label you as an ******* in my head.
*Edit*
Also considering a shell for $1,000 or less

Requirements
- Must be under $2,000
- Must have working A/C
- Good Gas Mileage
- MUST BE 100% SMOG LEGAL IN IT'S CURRENT STATE, NOT "IT PASSED SMOG LAST YEAR WITH SO AND SO MOTOR"
