whats up guys well im having an issue i want to install 6x9s on the rear of my 95 civic ex coupe but i dont know where to lay them out and how much to cut if u have any advice plz share it with me b4 i F up my car lol im one of them impatient ppl

 

Stick with stock speaker size, the rear deck of your car is an integral part of the rear structure, cutting it will weaken things to the point that the rear window seal could start leaking.

There is also no advantage to having 6x9 speakers in the rear of the car, better to spend that time/effort and money on upgrading the front speakers and there installation. 94

 

cool thanks bro well i ended up selling the 6x9s and went and bought a component kit for the rear

 

6x9's sound like **** anyway...there is a reason why speakers are round.

You should not install tweeters in the rear of the car, it effects imaging and staging, it makes "tuning" the system properly impossible. 94

 

well i got components cause they were a straight trade and because they sound hella clear, beside im not really into systems with these components it almost sounds as good as my boys car that has a 10 sub in it
